What is art without an artist?

Naive art refers to types of fine art created by a self-taught artist, such as paintings and sculptures, whereas folk art refers to products with a practical application. Naive art has been the focus of many studies because it provides evidence about the artistic skills of past societies. In fact, some naive artists today continue this tradition by creating works of art for their own enjoyment rather than for sale.

Some scholars believe that people have always used their imagination to create images in their minds's eyes. Some ancient cultures produced realistic paintings on rock walls but most were simply drawings or even cartoons. Napoleon's army was once given orders to destroy all its oil paintings because they thought it would take too long to rebuild them.

In modern society, people enjoy watching film and television shows that use special effects to paint pictures with their words and actions. These programs are called "popular arts" or "entertainments arts". They're made by talented people who work together to imagine what it might be like to fly through the air or shrink down small enough to fit inside your body.

Although they don't use any traditional materials, some contemporary artists produce works of art by handdrawing and then scanning these drawings into a computer where they can be manipulated and colored in any way necessary for producing new images.

What is naive art?

Naive art is basic, unaffected, and unsophisticated, and it typically refers to work created by artists who have never attended an art school or institution. Although many naive artists have had some training in classical drawing techniques or have learned from more experienced artists, they often choose not to label their work as such because they view it as a personal expression that does not require any formal education to create.

In philosophy, naivety is the state or condition of being naive. Naive people are those who believe or know something without taking into account how much they do not know. For example, if someone asks a naive artist about the technical aspects of his/her work, he/she will probably not be able to give an accurate answer. The artist creates what he/she feels at the time of painting and doesn't think about how others might interpret his/her work - this is why many naive paintings are misunderstood by others.

In art history, the term "naive art" is used to describe works created before the advent of modern art movements in Europe. Many famous artists were considered naive when they first started creating work that has been labeled as proto-modern or pre-cubist. Goya and Velázquez are two examples of naive painters.

What is art, according to artists?

According to the Oxford Dictionary, art is "the expression or application of human creative talent and imagination, usually in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, generating works to be valued primarily for their beauty or emotional force." What exactly is art? Art is many things to many people. For some, it is a method of recording history through monuments and buildings, while for others it is a way of expressing oneself visually. However, for most people art is a matter of opinion and taste, therefore there can be no right or wrong answer to this question.

As far as artists are concerned, they believe that art is anything that produces a desired effect. So art is basically anything that moves you something deep inside you; anything that makes you feel something - even if it's only sadness or happiness. Anything that creates a memory of some kind is art. The only limitations to what can be considered art are your own perceptions and opinions.

When you look at paintings by famous artists like Michelangelo or Rembrandt you often notice that they capture moments in time just like photographs do today. This means that artists have been able to reproduce objects and scenes from our past in such a way that they still seem new and interesting today. It also means that artists have been able to convey emotion in a simple face frame much like we can today with computer graphics.

What is the concept of "outsider art"?

Outsider art is used to describe art that has a naïve aspect and is frequently made by persons who have not trained as artists or worked inside traditional art production organizations. The term "outsider" is used because such people do not identify themselves with any particular movement in art, rather they work independently.

People sometimes use the term "outsider artist" to describe an artist who makes beautiful works of art that are different from those made by more established artists. But this usage is confusing because it implies that there is something wrong with being an insider. In fact, everyone was once an outsider. The only ones who aren't anymore are those who don't develop their skills or interest in creating new art.

Being an outsider in the world of art means that your work is original and may not be bought at galleries or museums. It can include any kind of artwork, but it is usually non-traditional - i.e. using methods or materials that are not commonly used by professional artists.

In the United States, the first outsiders were painters who worked on farms during the late 19th century - known as farm school artists because they often attended classes at agricultural colleges then schools set up by President Theodore Roosevelt to teach farmers how to paint their crops.

What is art, in your own opinion?

Art is an expression of our ideas, feelings, intuitions, and wishes, but it is also about communicating how we view the world, which for many is an extension of their personality. It is the sharing of sensitive notions that cannot be accurately depicted by words alone. Art has had an important role in society for many reasons.

Some people believe that art is purely subjective, which means that what matters is not what other people think but rather what you as an individual find interesting or pleasing. Other people believe that there are objective truths about the world that can be discovered through science and mathematics, for example, and that some people just know how to use these tools well. Still others feel that there is no such thing as objective truth and that what matters is what people find useful or meaningful. Some artists work in different disciplines including literature, music, philosophy, and politics and so have broad interests beyond simply painting or sculpting.

In short, art is whatever you want it to be. It's subjective, it's objective, there is no single right answer, and it depends on your point of view.
