Pantone (r) 186 represents the official A-State Red, which is referred to as "Scarlet." A-State Black is represented by a 100 percent black (K) value. The absence of color is defined as white, and there is no color information; white is white. White is an essential component of the Arkansas State color scheme. Without it, there would be no way to distinguish one team from another - they'd all look the same!
White was originally selected by Thomas Jefferson when he designed a flag for the new nation. He chose it because it was not yet known what the national color would be. Today, most states with white flags also use red or blue as their primary colors.
Arkansas became the first state to adopt its current flag in 1872. It features an image of two hands holding a wheat stalk and a sickle. This symbolizes agriculture and industry. The hand signal that accompanies the flag is called the "Arkansan salute." It is used today as a sign of respect.
So, yes, Arkansas has a state color!

Arkansas' state flag consists of a red field with a white diamond shape and a blue border with 25 white stars. The state name "ARKANSAS" is written in blue on the white diamond. The stars in the border represent each county in the state.
The state seal shows a white star on a red background with the words "arkansassenator" below it. It was adopted by the General Assembly in 1855.
Arkansas became the 38th state to join the Union on June 15, 1836. The state's name comes from the Arkansas River which flows through the state. The river's name is derived from the French word for "red", because of the color of the clay along its banks. For most of its history, Arkansas was dominated by plantation owners who used slavery as an economic system. In 1863, Arkansas became the last state to secede from the Union. After the Civil War ended in 1865, former slaves were granted their freedom and had the right to vote.
There are currently 39 counties in Arkansas. Before Arkansas became a state in 1836, there were several other states that included areas now considered part of Arkansas. These include: Louisiana (current state)', Missouri (current state), Tennessee (current state), Kentucky (current state), and Indian Territory (current state).

The apple blossom, being the state flower, appears in a variety of styles. The one with the flower in the middle was strewn with stas representing the United States. For the original states, there were thirteen rays on it, and the colors were red, white, and blue. One flag was made entirely of apple blossoms, four of them in bright blocks.
